Festival Ticket Terms

These Festival Ticket Terms apply to tickets purchased for the Families of Smithville Road Music Festival 2026, held Saturday and Sunday, July 11–12, 2026 in Cambridge, Maryland (Dorchester County). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms. The general site Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply.

Rain or shine

This is a rain-or-shine event. No cancellations. The festival will proceed regardless of weather. Tickets are non-refundable for weather, performer changes, or personal circumstances. Come prepared — bring your own chairs, umbrellas, and weather-appropriate gear.

Tickets

Each ticket admits one person for the day(s) specified (Saturday, Sunday, or Weekend Pass).
VIP tickets include reserved seating with tables and chairs provided; quantities are limited to 280 VIP seats per day.
Tickets will be issued electronically (by email). Please bring your ticket — printed or on your phone — to gate check-in along with a valid photo ID matching the name on the order.
Children under 5 enter free with a ticketed adult, but do not get a reserved seat in VIP.

Refunds and transfers

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds, including in the case of weather, traffic, illness, schedule changes, or artist lineup changes. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by contacting us at fosr1876@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the event with the new attendee’s name and email.

Entry and conduct

All attendees are subject to bag check at entry. Festival staff may refuse entry or remove anyone who is unsafe, disruptive, or violating these terms, with no refund.
No outside alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, or drones.
Smoking only in designated areas.
You are responsible for your own belongings. The festival is not liable for lost or stolen property.
Service animals are welcome. Other pets are not permitted.

Assumption of risk

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending an outdoor live music event, including exposure to weather, loud sound levels, crowds, and uneven terrain. You agree that Families of Smithville Road, Inc., its officers, directors, volunteers, partners, performers, and the venue are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage occurring at or in connection with the festival, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Photo and video release

The festival will be photographed and recorded. By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded, and you grant Families of Smithville Road, Inc. the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use those images and recordings for promotional, educational, historical, and fundraising purposes, in any medium, without further notice or compensation. If you do not wish to appear in festival media, please notify a staff member at the gate so we can note your preference.

Cancellation by the festival

While this is a rain-or-shine event, in the extremely unlikely case the festival is canceled outright by FOSR (for example, due to an emergency or government order), ticket holders will be notified by email and offered either credit toward a future FOSR event or a refund at our discretion.

Resale

Tickets may not be resold for profit. Tickets offered for resale above face value may be voided without refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Dorchester County, Maryland.
